Ferghana.ru has a great story on the “sacred rooster of Osh.”
“I’ve had it for two years already,” Ibragim Ismatullayev, the owner, said. “It is extremely aggressive, ever trying to attack me or the kids, and so I decided to cook it. I got the rooster by the legs, took it out of the hen house, and put the knife to its neck. It screamed. My son who was by my side (he is 5) said, “Dad. It’s saying “Allah, Allah.!” Let him live.” I was shocked. I called my mother who listened to the rooster and said, “Let it be, son. It’s a blessing on our home.”
Ismatullaev also said that upon hearing the rooster, some of his neighbors turned to God and began praying.
After reading the story, be sure to listen to the recording of the rooster (which made my cats go nuts).
It seems that the Ferghana Valley produces plenty of sacred farm animals.

Agree, the stupidest story ever!!!!
Maybe it is the first signs of desperation and psychological breakdown as a consequence of ever increasing hardships.
Whatever it is it is very SAD to think that Your countrymen are getting nuts.
Rustam, it’s not just there. Mary sightings, for example, are pretty common in the West. This was one of the more entertaining ones recently. And there are a bunch here.

Actually, the God Rooster recording really spooked me. And here’s why:
A few months ago, some al-Quaeda propaganda came through my village in Kazakhstan. It was passed on completely without malice, together with music videos and pirated movies on VCDs around town. It ended up on the school computers in the little resource center in my school. My students got a laugh out of such things – but I was completely and totally upset by it.
Seriously. I was almost physically ill, and not because of any animosity towards Islam, Saudis, Osama, or other things. The propaganda was just so … RAW. This particular video [come to think of it, I shoudl just do a writeup on the five or six I've seen] featured a growth on a man in the shape of a head. It could have been a failed identical twin, but anyway – this growth had a mouth. The mouth said Olla. Over. And Over. And Over. Sounded like the rooster, and it scared the f%*^ out of me. Truly, the images on this video are still in my skull.
So. Roosters of God seem to be scaring me. Maybe I’m not as righteous as Father Andrew thought I was… Can’t even handle chickens.
If you could beg, borrow, or steal that Olla head video, well, I’d thank you kindly. I’m a sucker for these things.
That audio was awesome. Obviously this is a challenge to Christians to find a pig that oinks ‘god, god, goooooooood’.
I saw a show with a two headed baby, the less developed head could make sucking sounds but that was it. It looked a little like Buddha though.
How does al-Qaeda use a person with a 2nd head as propaganda?
C’mon Brian, isn’t it obvious? The dude has two heads and one only says “Allah.” Therefore, death to America! Restore the Caliphate!
Actually, it sounds like it’s just part of a larger package of propaganda videos. But, it’s probably also aiming more at the religious side of the coin as opposed to the political. I get the feeling it’s something like “We’re pious Muslims; ‘real’ Muslims. We’re showing you these miracles that prove God’s glory. Therefore, amend your ways and practice as we do.” Kind of like telling people the water stain on your basement wall is obviously an image of Jesus, so stop your wicked ways.
Ok. I think I’ll seriously put some time in this weekend and do a little write up on the propaganda series – maybe you’d be interested in me posting it here, Nate? I could put it up on my own site, but that’s just personal for the folks at home, and they’d probably flip if I did a post just on creepy shit like that.
That specific video specialized in birth defects, [rat people, double-heads, serious mutilations at birth, etc.] pointing out that the victims were not pious Muslims, and were being punished by God. Others I’ve seen – victims of car accidents/drunk driving, beheadings/maimings of non-pious Muslims by more-pious Muslims, and the least offensive: low, low, low budget animated history of the World, telling Koran stories. Looks like it was drawn at 8 frames/second and recorded onto a fruit roll-up. But harmless – nothing subversive about Noah’s ark, right?
I’ll try and track down a copy of the video… but I really, really don’t want to see it again. I shouldn’t have to, of course. Everyone knows what I’ll mean, and they’ll just burn a VCD for me. I’m actually planning on being in the states come June, so I’ll just save it till then and use a more reliable postal service to get it to you. Let me find the VCD first, though. The local mullahs are really cool guys who clamp down on stupid shit like that, so there might not be any copies of it left around.
Al-Qaeda’s PR department sure does have some “outside the box” thinkers, it seems.

i think the story is really and its kind of scarry… if u guys dont beliece this there lion in Baku, Russia that said Allah couple of times while he was in the cage… if you guys want to see the video go on this website….
