Is school getting to you? A protest on the 21st in Andijon and all I see is a bunch of links.
Nathan, you know you’re one of my favorite people (despite the pj media button giving me a headache), but what is going on?
Y’all are more than welcome to send me a heads up to stories I’m missing or submit a guest post.
The Andijon protest, by the way, I don’t see any stories for until today. And, I am on the left coast now.
And yes, school’s a ton of work. I have an absolutely brutal seminar on the Mongols this term.
Sorry if you don’t like the PJM button. Yes, I am a member–actually a member of the “G70″ meaning I have an exclusive contract with them and they have syndication rights to content on the site. I’m not a huge fan of advertising, but I am a big fan of money. And the deal guarantees me a certain amount of cash every quarter.
No prob about the PJM – you know I’m just teasing you. Plus it means I can’t reference you on dailykos.com when they’re being stupid about Uzbekistan, because then they’ll all bitch at me about how you’re a neo-con or something retarded.
Perhaps my confusion was that I think you’re prescient about all things Uzbek. My standards are too high. Even when I disagree, I know that you give everything thought.
Hell, please do reference me. If I’m really lucky, I can bring a successful libel suit against someone and pay off my debts. (Not like it’s ever taken any kind of formal affiliations of mine to be dismissed out of hand by frothing lefties simply because I disagree with them though. I much prefer the lefty readers I have.)
My prescience, by the way, has slipped quite a bit since I moved farther on down the line from the beginning of the news cycle. The links, you should note, are mislabelled. They are actually from the 23rd.
And just a reminder, like most men in the Hamm family, I am so rarely wrong about things that one wonders if it perhaps simply easier to say I’m always right. It just comes naturally and requires no real thought. It’s a heavy burden, but we make do as best we can.
No, but see, I disagree with you sometimes. Which means that, since I’m always right, that you are wrong sometimes.
The kossacks won’t libel you… they’ll just call me names.
