I just translated one of the more astounding reports off of Fergana.ru here - http://scrapsofmoscow.blogspot.com/2005/05/latest-from-ferganaru-no-comment.html ("Violent repression of the rebellion in Uzbekistan has led to hundreds of deaths") Not sure if the headline is sensationalism - the eyewitness actually said, "hundreds of wounded and killed," but either way this is pretty serious.
